Bazzi
Extremely simple personality and natural optimism causes Bazzi to feel the slightest fear of speed. Since his self-taught karting skills were the result of spying on Dao's driving, he sometimes does not follow the usual maneuvers and goes by his own style. In any case, we believe that his future is limitless!

Diz
Diz was a tad shy at first, but through practice, became of the the best riders--though she can be a bit wild at times.She is planning to find the evil Lodumani with her boyfriend Dao.

Erini
The prettiest girl on planet Northeu, Erini has a venturesome and cheerful spirit and likes to play exciting games. Ever since her boyfriend Taki brought home kart racing, she was deeply hooked. Her dream is to be able to stand on the top podium together with her dear boyfriend.

Lodumani
A pirate captain with a knack for violence, Lodumani was stranded with his crew on a beach near Zoomtown after a sea storm. While he racked his brains to try to repair his ship and return to the sea, he wandered around and saw a kart race by chance, and his competitiveness was aroused. But he stood out among other racers for turning a fun competition into a struggle of life and death where anything goes. He sought pleasure in playing dirty and setting up traps to hurt other players in the race. His highly gifted karting skills on top of his evil nature made him the most feared racer on the tracks.

Mos Moss is the biggest kart maniac in Boom Hill who believes there is more than a race than winning. He loves karts and he even mods his own kart.

Dr. Revaski
Dr. Revaski is a scientist from planet Northeu. He took on the identity of Dr. R when he came to Zoomtown to find his son Taki, who ran away from home. He hoped to deter Taki's desire to be a racer by putting up obstacles on the racetracks, only to realize that it was impossible to quench his son's enthusiasm. The doctor then decided to organize even higher level races on Northeu, and invited all inhabitants of Zoomtown to come and compete. In China he is known as Q. Dr.

Brill
Brill is a technician who learned to drive by testing the karts he built himself. He also builds his own karts and has a deep understanding of kart construction.

Maridia
Maridia dreams of winning Dao's heart through her racing skill. Maridia wants to win his love more than any race.

Taki
Taki is an alien from planet Northeu. While traveling in his UFO through space, he spotted a KartRider tournament in Zoomtown. He flew over with great interest and asked to join the race, but the rules said all karts must be driven on land, so he was disqualified. Later, the other racers helped Taki to modify his UFO with wheels, and he was finally allowed to race.

Uni
As if he was born gifted in karting, Uni has shown his potential at a very young age. Since there are no karts that fits his size, he usually borrows karts that Mos modified for him to race in tournaments. His biggest dream is to save up enough Lucci he wins so he can afford to buy a kart tailored for his size.

Dao
Dao is the role model for all riders. He does not like attacking other riders during races, and never cheats to win a race. He started riding karts when he was younger and excels at winding turns as well as possessing excellent drift technique.

Dr R
Dr. R is a weird old man. One day he suddenly appeared in Zoomtown. No one knows where he came from or how he got here. He made a series of crazy changes after his arrival: he reversed some of the racetracks and placed more obstacles on them. His strange actions made Dr. R known among others as the troublemaker.

Chunk
Chunk is a rider who is constantly practicing. He is intimated by high speeds, but his expert use of item more than makes up for this.
